Adobe’s new AI program - Firefly | Atlasiko Inc.

Introducing Firefly, the new "family of creative generative artificial intelligence models" from Adobe will enable customers to generate first-rate images and text effects. In a blog post, the company's representative wrote “Adobe’s first model, trained on Adobe Stock images, openly licensed content and public domain content where copyright has expired, will focus on images and text effects and is designed to generate content safe for commercial use”.

Adobe Stock has numerous professional-grade, certified images that are the most quality in the market among its rivals. This condition ensures that Adobe Firefly will not have intentions to produce content stolen from other people’s or brand’s IP. Besides, the company will continue give priority to countering possible negative bias as future Firefly models will utilize different assets, technology and training data from Adope and others.

"Generative AI is the next evolution of AI-driven creativity and productivity, transforming the conversation between creator and computer into something more natural, intuitive and powerful," said David Wadhwani, Adobe's Digital Media business president. The company’s goal is to build generative AI that allows customers to monetize their talents. It is developing a compensation model for Adobe Stock contributors to ensure that its community can benefit from their hard work. After launching a beta, the organization plans to engage its clients and creative community to get feedback on how they can improve Firefly and create a better experience for everyone.

Adobe also recognizes the importance of respecting intellectual property rights, which is why they will introduce a "Do Not Train" tag for creators who don't want their content to be used in model training. This tag will stay with content wherever it is used, published or stored.

Firefly will be integrated directly into Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Experience Cloud and Adobe Express workflows. Adobe Express, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator are those first apps that will benefit from the model. Also, the program will be available on application programming interfaces, allowing users to integrate it into custom workflows and automations.

Overall, the new AI program - Firefly can bring generative AI to the masses and transform the way creators interact with computers. Users can try out the beta version of this novelty and see where Firefly can take their creativity. The digital world is unveiling large opportunities for users, we suggest you take a closer look at recent news about Bing’s AI Chatbot that creates images as well.
